Many Christians try to claim that certain commandments in Scripture are unclear. More often than not, this claim simply represents the individual’s lack of desire to obey.
The church needs Scripture, but it also needs an exposition of Scripture. We need this exposition of Scripture in both our preaching and our singing. At the level of the heart, the people of Noah’s day were no more wicked than the people of our day. But in terms of their outward deeds and behaviors, they were far worse. This is because the Law of God was not functioning properly in its 2nd Use… and because of the Nephilim.
