Faithful preaching includes 1) revelation (a text), 2) interpretation (exegesis), and 3) application (how we should then live). The “Gospel-Centered Movement” worked hard over the past 20 years to train Evangelicals to despise that last part. They were highly successful.

God will defeat every one of his enemies. Some are defeated by grace – God mercifully causes these sinners to become his adopted sons. Others are defeated by justice.
