“Not every Christian man will be a “professional” theologian, but every Christian man must be a “resident” theologian in his home.” -Doug Wilson
Our God, who is Spirit, profoundly loves his physical creation. But sadly, many Christians are too “spiritual” to actually love what God loves and hate what God hates.
Some Christians will die in virtuous hope, while others will experience serious doubts as they breathe their last breaths. So what happens to these doubting Christians?
The Bible teaches that suffering is the slave of every true believer, sent by God to produce spiritual wealth for those who choose to suffer well.
“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.” Hebrews 1:1-2 ESV
