Right Response Ministries has produced hundreds of high-quality videos/podcasts. So for your convenience, every Friday we provide a list of our top five videos for the week. Each of these videos are personally selected by Pastor Joel Webbon. He has insisted that we not merely highlight our most popular content, but the content that he believes is most vital for Christians to be convicted, emboldened, and encouraged. May God use this content to bless you richly.

#3 Pastors Who Prioritized The Body Over The Soul During Covid | Hebrews 10:19 25
Hebrews 3:12-13 says, “Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another... that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.” So Hebrews 10:24-25, when properly placed in context with Hebrews 3:12-13, provides both a biblical and logical explanation for the tragedy of apostasy (how some individuals who once belonged to the “visible” church ultimately chose to abandon the faith). By way of implication, Hebrews 10:24-25 informs us that the weekly gathering of the saints is the primary context for “stir[ring] up one another to love and good works.” And Hebrews 3:12-13 informs us that “exhort[ing] one another” (the phrase “exhort one another” is synonymous with the phrase “stir one another up”) is one of the church’s most effective strategies for guarding its members against being “hardened by the deceitfulness of sin” which eventually causes people “to fall away from the living God” (commit apostasy). In other words, Christians are commanded not to neglect the weekly gathering of the saints because this is the necessary environment for fulfilling their Christian duty of stirring one another up. And stirring one another up (or exhorting one another) serves as a powerful defense against the deceitfulness of sin which creates a hardened, unbelieving heart. And finally, an unbelieving heart is what ultimately leads people to fall away from the living God. In short, Christians (and especially pastors) were presented with a simple choice: Either forsake the gathering to minimize the physical threat of death to our bodies, or continue to gather to minimize the spiritual threat of damnation to our souls.
#4 Does a Husband Have Authority to Tell His Wife What Clothes to Wear?
Where does a husband’s jurisdiction end? Is it permissible for a wife to disobey commands from a husband when they fall outside of his jurisdiction? Or should all “neutral” commands be obeyed?
#5 Feminism & Lazy/Cowardly Men
There were problems with even first-wave Feminism. Although this is a highly unpopular opinion, Pastor Joel does not believe women should ever have been permitted to vote in civil affairs. Here’s his attempt to briefly make sense of how we got into the mess we currently find ourselves in.
A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM PASTOR JOEL WEBBON
Unfortunately, 2021 did not provide the relief that many were hoping for. Instead of the promised return to normalcy, tyranny and deception have become commonplace. From vaccine mandates to record-high inflation, our current political elites have made it abundantly clear that they have no concern for the public. And yet, God’s goodness has continued to shine through. More and more people are waking up to reality and joining the fight for liberty and truth.
However, there still appears to be a problem. On the one hand, there are Evangelicals who claim to love the Gospel, while consistently echoing the talking points of neo-Marxists. And on the other hand, there are Conservatives that champion many Christian values, while rejecting Christ as the source of all that is good. Our world desperately needs Christians who believe the whole Bible and are committed to applying it to every area of life. From family to church, and culture to politics, we must hold fast to the sufficiency of Scripture.
This is our goal: To equip Christians with a thoroughly biblical worldview, and teach them to apply it to every area of life.
To this end, we humbly ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with Right Response Ministries. Right Response Ministries is seeking to continue to be a voice of reason in a world that has gone mad, but we cannot accomplish this without your help.
