Right Response Ministries has produced hundreds of high-quality videos/podcasts. So for your convenience, every Friday we provide a list of our top five videos for the week. Each of these videos are personally selected by Pastor Joel Webbon. He has insisted that we not merely highlight our most popular content, but the content that he believes is most vital for Christians to be convicted, emboldened, and encouraged. May God use this content to bless you richly.

#1 THE NEW FAULT LINES | WHICH SIDE ARE THEY ON? | MEGAN BASHAM

In this episode of Theology Applied, I play a little game with Megan Basham from Daily Wire. I mention a well-known leader in Evangelicalism by name, and then Megan and I place them in one of three categories.

Here’s the list of names we cover in this episode:

1) Timothy Keller
2) John Piper
3) Gavin Ortlund
4) Voddie Baucham
5) Matt Chandler
6) Michael Horton
7) Russell Moore
8) John MacArthur
9) R.C. Sproul
10) Doug Wilson

The “old” fault lines of Calvinism vs. Arminianism, Cessationism vs. Continuationism, and Baptist vs. Presbyterian are still important, but the “new” fault lines have quickly moved to the center of the debate. What are these “new” fault lines? Oh, you know. Things like Woke vs. Not Woke, Covid Tyranny vs. Personal Liberty, Socialism vs. Capitalism, Globalism vs. Nationalism, etc. Now what we’re starting to see when it comes to these “new” fault lines, we’re starting to see that there are basically only three camps:

1) Pietism (Apathy)
2) Pragmatism (Marxists)
3) Perseverance (Faithfulness)

You’re definitely not going to want to miss this episode!

#2 ALL OF LIFE IS WORSHIP | HEBREWS 7:26-28

The main point is that Jesus is no ordinary, weak, sinful, dying, priest. He is strong, pure, sinless, and has an indestructible life. He is the Son of God. Jesus Christ has not just come to fit into the earthly system of the priesthood as the greatest and final human priest. Rather, he has come to fulfill and end this system. This means that the entire essence of worship which we see in the Old Testament has been radically refocused onto Jesus himself. Worship has now become a “spiritual” thing, as opposed to merely an “physical” thing. The physical is still important, but the spiritual is so significant that all of external life (not just church life) has now become an expression of our worship. Worship is now something that can and should happen all the time and everywhere.

31 Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 ESV

#3 HONORING FATHERS BY COVERING THEIR NAKEDNESS

Because we live in a fallen world, some fathers are especially difficult to honor. In this short video, Pastor Joel explains how to honor a dishonorable father.

#4 CAN WOMEN BE ON CHURCH STAFF WITH MEN REPORTING TO THEM?

Regarding church staff, is it biblical for a woman to be in a lead role such as Communications Director (or a similar ministry position within the church) and have men reporting to her?

Mondays at 12PM CT Pastor Joel hops on YouTube to answer your questions live. This episode of Questions was taken from one of his Live Q&A. To make sure you are notified when we have our next Live Q&A - subscribe to our YouTube channel and click the bell.

#5 TULLIAN TCHIVIDJIAN & CARL LENTZ | THE SEXUAL VANITY OF FALSE TEACHERS

What can we learn from Tullian Tchividjian & Carl Lentz? Is there a correlation between the way a pastor dresses and sexual immorality?

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM PASTOR JOEL WEBBON

Unfortunately, 2021 did not provide the relief that many were hoping for. Instead of the promised return to normalcy, tyranny and deception have become commonplace. From vaccine mandates to record-high inflation, our current political elites have made it abundantly clear that they have no concern for the public. And yet, God’s goodness has continued to shine through. More and more people are waking up to reality and joining the fight for liberty and truth.

However, there still appears to be a problem. On the one hand, there are Evangelicals who claim to love the Gospel, while consistently echoing the talking points of neo-Marxists. And on the other hand, there are Conservatives that champion many Christian values, while rejecting Christ as the source of all that is good. Our world desperately needs Christians who believe the whole Bible and are committed to applying it to every area of life. From family to church, and culture to politics, we must hold fast to the sufficiency of Scripture.

This is our goal: To equip Christians with a thoroughly biblical worldview, and teach them to apply it to every area of life.

To this end, we humbly ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with Right Response Ministries. Right Response Ministries is seeking to continue to be a voice of reason in a world that has gone mad, but we cannot accomplish this without your help.
