Right Response Ministries has produced hundreds of high-quality videos/podcasts. So for your convenience, every Friday we provide a list of our top five videos for the week. Each of these videos are personally selected by Pastor Joel Webbon. He has insisted that we not merely highlight our most popular content, but the content that he believes is most vital for Christians to be convicted, emboldened, and encouraged. May God use this content to bless you richly.

#1 PROPHECY HAS CEASED: NO NEW REVELATION

Throughout human history, God has spoken to mankind through his prophets, but in these last days God has spoken to us by his Son, Jesus Christ. It's important to recognize that Christ does not break with the great Jewish history. To the contrary, Jesus comes to bring it to fulfillment. Without him the Old Testament revelation is partial, fragmentary, preparatory, and incomplete. God spoke in different times by different means, but in Christ he spoke fully, decisively, finally, and perfectly. In other words, Jesus illuminates and confirms the Old Testament by assuring us that the prophets did in fact speak for God and providing fulfillment to their words. And Jesus ensures and commissions the writing of the New Testament by appointing the apostles and sending the Holy Spirit to inspire their writings. So when Hebrews 1:1-2 states that Christ is the final revelation, we are meant to understand that Christ is the final revelation as we witness him through the agency of the Scripture, both the Old Testament and New Testament.

#2 WILL CATHOLICS GO TO HELL?

It has been often argued by Protestants that Catholicism denies the Gospel. Is this true? If so, “how” does Catholicism deny the Gospel? And due to this denial, will Catholics go to hell?

#3 WOKENESS IS ON IT’S LAST LEG, NOW WHAT? | WITH JARED LONGSHORE

In this episode of Theology Applied, Jared Longshore and Pastor Joel Webbon discuss how “Wokeness” is about to be a thing of the past. However, there may actually be a bigger problem for the Church on the horizon. So how should Christians live in a “Post-Woke” world, and how can we prepare for what’s coming next?

#4 IF YOUR PASTOR IS LIKE THIS, YOU SHOULD BE VERY CONCERNED!

There are many negative character traits a pastor can possess. He could be greedy, arrogant, or sexually immoral. But there is one incredibly dangerous characteristic that many Christians never even consider… until it’s too late.

#5 UNDERSTANDING THE PROBLEMS WITH “TWO-KINGDOMS THEOLOGY”

The biblical distinction is between the “Kingdom of Light” and the “Kingdom of Darkness,” not between the “Kingdom of the Church” and the “Kingdom of the Culture.” In large part, Christians are losing the culture war because of their profound misunderstanding of this reality.

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM PASTOR JOEL WEBBON

Unfortunately, 2021 did not provide the relief that many were hoping for. Instead of the promised return to normalcy, tyranny and deception have become commonplace. From vaccine mandates to record-high inflation, our current political elites have made it abundantly clear that they have no concern for the public. And yet, God’s goodness has continued to shine through. More and more people are waking up to reality and joining the fight for liberty and truth.

However, there still appears to be a problem. On the one hand, there are Evangelicals who claim to love the Gospel, while consistently echoing the talking points of neo-Marxists. And on the other hand, there are Conservatives that champion many Christian values, while rejecting Christ as the source of all that is good. Our world desperately needs Christians who believe the whole Bible and are committed to applying it to every area of life. From family to church, and culture to politics, we must hold fast to the sufficiency of Scripture.

This is our goal: To equip Christians with a thoroughly biblical worldview, and teach them to apply it to every area of life.

To this end, we humbly ask that you would prayerfully consider partnering with Right Response Ministries. Right Response Ministries is seeking to continue to be a voice of reason in a world that has gone mad, but we cannot accomplish this without your help.
